Logistics Coordinator (Freight Dispatch & Brokerage)

We're looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator with proven expertise in both freight dispatch and freight brokerage. This is a full-time remote contractor role where you'll manage the entire freight process, from load sourcing and carrier coordination to shipper communication and brokerage operations.

Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end freight dispatch operations, including load sourcing, dispatching, and invoicing.
- Source freight, negotiate rates, and coordinate shipments with carriers and shippers.
- Handle brokerage transactions from quoting and booking through delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers.
- Verify carrier authority, insurance, and FMCSA compliance before onboarding.
- Manage daily operations using dispatch, brokerage, and communication platforms.
- Negotiate competitive rates while protecting company margins.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in both freight dispatch and freight brokerage.
- Strong negotiation skills with carriers and shippers.
- Hands-on experience with DAT One Load Board, AscendTMS, and Google Workspace.
- Solid understanding of FMCSA regulations, operating authority, insurance requirements, and Hours of Service (HOS).
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and negotiations simultaneously.
- Excellent English communication and organizational skills.
