Full-Time Remote Sales and Customer Service Assistant

Job Description
Plastic Container City is a family-run US food-packaging business. We supply bakeries, cafés, caterers, restaurants and other food businesses.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and confident person to join our team as a full-time Sales and Customer Service Assistant. You should enjoy speaking with people, starting conversations and building customer relationships.

This is primarily an outbound sales role. Much of your day will involve finding potential business customers, making cold calls and following up with leads. You must be comfortable contacting businesses that have not spoken with us before.

You will also answer incoming calls and help existing customers with product and order questions.

Main responsibilities

Research and identify potential business customers

Make outbound sales calls to food businesses

Introduce Plastic Container City and our products

Follow up with leads by phone and email

Build relationships with new and existing customers

Answer incoming customer calls

Help customers with product and order questions

Keep accurate records of calls, leads and follow-ups

What we are looking for

At least three years of outbound telephone sales experience

Experience making cold calls to businesses

Fluent spoken and written English

Spoken English that is clear and easily understood by US customers over the phone

A friendly, confident and persuasive telephone manner

Strong organization and follow-up skills

Reliable internet, a backup internet option and a quiet working space

Availability to work 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mon-Thur US Eastern Time
9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Friday US Eastern Time

Salary: $200 USD per week
