# Graphic Designer & Print Production Specialist

## About Us

Boosters Publishing is a growing educational publishing company that creates high-quality textbooks, workbooks, children's books, magazines, marketing materials, and print products. We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer & Print Production Specialist to become a long-term member of our team.

This is not just a graphic design position. We're looking for someone who understands print production, book layout, typography, and preparing files for professional printing.

## Responsibilities

* Design and lay out textbooks, workbooks, and children's books
* Typeset and format book interiors using Adobe InDesign
* Create and update book covers
* Design marketing materials, flyers, catalogs, and social media graphics
* Prepare print-ready files for commercial printing
* Follow printer templates, bleed, trim, and binding specifications
* Make revisions quickly and accurately
* Organize project files, fonts, and linked images
* Work closely with our team to maintain a consistent brand style
* Assist with packaging, labels, presentations, and other design projects as needed

## Requirements

* Advanced Adobe InDesign skills (required)
* Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills
* Excellent typography and page layout skills
* Experience designing books, workbooks, magazines, or catalogs
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
* Excellent written English communication
* Reliable internet connection and home office

## Preferred Experience

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

* Educational publishing
* Children's books
* Print production
* Prepress and print-ready PDF preparation
* Packaging design
* Canva
* Microsoft PowerPoint
* AI tools such as ChatGPT or Adobe Firefly
