Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Position Summary
AI Hub Agency LLC is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to support a U.S. federal software modernization and authorization project involving an existing enterprise application environment.

Responsibilities

Administer and support Oracle database environments.
Support application/database integration with Java REST APIs.
Troubleshoot database performance, availability, and access issues.
Support role-, policy-, and permission-based authorization functionality.
Support database schema changes and application releases.
Support development, test, deployment, backup, recovery, and maintenance activities.
Work with developers and system architects on integration issues.
Participate in incident troubleshooting and production-support activities.
Document database configurations, changes, and procedures.
Support security and Government technical reviews.

Candidate should demonstrate

Senior-level Oracle DBA experience.
Enterprise Oracle administration.
SQL and database troubleshooting.
Backup/recovery and performance tuning.
Development/test/production support.
Linux/Unix environments.
Experience supporting enterprise software-development teams.

Highly desirable

Oracle experience supporting Java applications.
Docker/containerized database testing.
Government/DoD experience.
NIST/RMF/security-controlled environments.
Cloud application environments.
