Short-Form Video Editor (CapCut) – TikTok & Reels for AI Apps

We're TurboUGC, a software platform for UGC creators who make short videos for tech and AI apps. Creators send us their raw clips, and our editors turn them into finished TikTok and Instagram Reels videos.

We're starting our beta and hiring our first 3 to 5 editors. You'll be part of the founding editing team and help shape how it works.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Edit 15 to 60 second vertical videos in CapCut from raw clips, a written brief and a reference video
- Add text hooks, captions, image overlays and app demo footage
- Match the structure and pacing of the reference video
- Work in our editor app: receive a ticket, edit, export to Google Drive, submit
- Handle revisions on your own videos
- During beta, tell us what's confusing in our app and guides so we can improve them

VIDEO TYPES (we'll train you on each)
- Talking head
- Hook + demo
- Dual screen
- Green screen
- Reaction green screen

REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ year editing short-form vertical video (TikTok, Reels or YouTube Shorts)
- Strong in CapCut desktop
- You know what makes a strong hook, fast pacing and clean captions
- Stable internet and a computer that runs CapCut and Google Drive for desktop
- Good written English, since you'll read briefs and creator notes
- Bonus: experience editing for apps, AI tools or UGC agencies

SCHEDULE
- You choose your own shifts
- Beta: 10-20 hours per week
- After launch (Nov 1): 30+ hours per week available

PAY
You're paid for every video the creator approves:
- $2.50 usd per video

Plus:
- $3 per hour when you're on shift and there's no video to edit
- 1st and 2nd revisions are included; 3rd revision onward pays $1 each
- Paid weekly, every Monday evening (Philippine time), via [Wise / PayPal / GCash]

We estimate most editors will earn about $7 to $10 per hour of editing, depending on speed and video type.
